In September 2012 Mark Standerwick was appointed for a three-year term to the Board of Directors of KinVillage Association. Located in Tsawwassen, BC, KinVillage has supported older adults for over 30 years to live their lives fully by providing a continuum of health, housing and recreational programs while nurturing a sense of community. KinVillage is a non-profit society which provides supportive housing for individuals with changing needs for support services. Services provided can change according to need while allowing the person to continue living in a familiar location. The continuum of housing comprises apartment living, supportive housing, assisted living, complex residential care, adult day programs and recreational activities.
