The firm is pleased to welcome Robert Allan to the partnership. Robert (“Rob”) brings a wealth of experience and perspective to our business law group and to his particular areas of interest.
Rob successfully represents clients in the purchase and sale of businesses, commercial leasing and real estate transactions, wills and estate planning and general corporate and commercial matters. Now in his tenth year with CFMR, Rob is currently working to expand his practice by helping family business owners with business restructuring and succession planning, and by joining our firm’s burgeoning maritime and fisheries law group.
Karla is a civil litigator specializing in commercial litigation. She has represented individual and corporate clients in cases involving contractual disputes, real estate transactions, lease disputes, shareholder’s disputes, and collections matters. This work has included helping clients reverse transactions affected by fraud, misrepresentations and undue influence. She also has experience resolving inter-generational family disputes and personal injury claims. Karla received her law degree from the University of British Columbia in 2007, articled at a national law firm in Vancouver and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2008. A Richmond native, she is currently a member of the Richmond women’s field hockey team.
