CFMR was well represented at the recent Small Firm Panel and reception at UBC’s Allard Hall. Karla Mukai together with Elyssa Lockhart (McQuarrie Hunter), Michael Slater (Slater Vecchio) and Ron Segev (Segev LLP), addressed UBC law students about the benefits of working at small or mid-sized firms versus large national firms.  By sharing their own career experiences, panel members offered guidance to the students based on acquired wisdom and personal understanding.  Karla also highlighted the benefits of practicing law in Richmond.  Later in the day, Karla was joined by Spencer May to represent the firm at the CFMR booth during the Small Firm Wine & Cheese Reception.  Both enjoyed the opportunity to meet law students from their alma mater.
