Ed Montague teamed up today with Joel Feldman, founder of End Distracted Driving to give a compelling presentation to students at Notre Dame Regional Secondary School in Vancouver about the dangers of distracted driving.  The presentation highlighted that distracted driving is the largest cause of youth-involved crashes in B.C., and now causes more deaths in B.C. than impaired driving (88 people died from distracted-driving collisions in B.C. in 2012, compared to 55 deaths related to impaired driving).  The presentation focused on strategies that all drivers, not just teens, can take to eliminate the deadly consequences of distracted driving on our roads.  For more information about the presentation, and the partnership of End Distracted Driving and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia to bring the same presentation to schools throughout the Province of B.C. starting in the Fall of 2014, check out the End Distracted Driving website at: http://enddd.org/ and the Trial Lawyers Association of B.C. press release.
