CFMR is happy to welcome Munpreet Sandhu as our new articling student! Munpreet is a recent graduate of the University of British Columbia’s Peter A. Allard School of Law. Prior to obtaining her Juris Doctor degree, Munpreet completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations at UBC. During law school, Munpreet was a representative on the Wellness Committee, a clinician with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program and volunteered with the Women’s Caucus and Artists’ Legal Outreach Clinic (ALO), earning her the Frederick Read Memorial Scholarship for contributions made to the law school. Munpreet has conducted in depth legal research in the area of international human rights and has experience working on a variety of legal issues including the areas of human rights, residential tenancy, real estate, business, and intellectual property during her time as a clinician. Prior to articling at CFMR, Munpreet worked with various non-profit organizations and a federal government agency where she developed a range of skills and knowledge that will help serve CFMR’s clients on a broad range of legal issues.
