CFMR lawyers Eric Schroter and Melinda Voros provided the closing presentation at the 14th Annual Symposium of the Institute of Advanced Financial Planners recently held in Richmond. Together they addressed the topic of Estate Plans and issues of Family Law for complex family situations, basing their presentation on a case study provided to delegates that offered a context for all the sessions.
Comments from conference delegates indicate that the content and discussion opportunities at this well-attended event were very well received.
The Institute of Advanced Financial Planners exists to provide a level of assurance and peace of mind to the public when they are seeking advisors capable of delivering advanced financial planning solutions. Next year’s annual IAFP symposium will take place in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
