Yue practises business law, real estate, succession planning, and wealth management. ‎Bilingual in English and Mandarin ‎Chinese, she delivers legal advice in both languages.

Yue assists entrepreneurs and businesses with a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including business structure and formation, corporate governance and financing, purchase and sale transactions, and contract preparation and review. She is building her practice in commercial and residential real estate, advising owners, developers, investors, lenders, property managers, landlords and tenants on various real estate matters. Additionally, Yue works with families to plan, manage, protect, and transition their businesses and wealth to the next generation.

Born and raised in China, Yue graduated from a top-tier law school and worked as a lawyer and in the provincial government there. After moving to Canada, she earned a Ph.D. in law and a J.D. from the University of British Columbia. Yue articled with a reputable global law firm in downtown Vancouver and later joined their corporate group as an associate lawyer before joining Campbell Froh May & Rice. She has assisted clients with cross-border matters, including mergers and acquisitions, tax-driven business reorganizations and cross-border litigation.

In her spare time, Yue loves hiking, camping, skiing and other outdoor activities. She enjoys spending time with her family, including her loving husband, two beautiful daughters and their young golden retriever.

Representing a business in a series of share and asset dispositions and acquisitions, including initial negotiation and preparation of a term sheet, establishing a joint venture, forming partnerships and corporations, preparing partnership and shareholder agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and handling the closing and the post-closing matters.

• Advising a family business on tax and succession planning, coordinating with accountants to develop a working plan, assessing legal risks, preparing legal documents, and implementing the succession plan.
• Assisting a professional in establishing a professional corporation, a federal holding corporation, and multiple BC operating companies, creating a family trust, and reorganizing business, trademarks, and real properties for business growth and succession in a tax-efficient manner.
• Representing a real estate developer in a business buyout, including preparing term sheets, obtaining consent from lenders and other third parties, negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, loan and security agreements, and related agreements, and managing closing and post-closing matters.
• Assisting an overseas seller with the disposition of commercial and residential properties in British Columbia.
• Representing a buyer in the acquisition of luxury real estate in British Columbia, addressing charges including court orders.
• Advising a high-net-worth individual new to Canada on cross-border wealth management, protection, and succession, collaborating with an accounting firm in British Columbia and a law firm in China to establish a working plan, forming corporations and a family trust, preparing multiple wills in China and Canada, drafting a prenuptial agreement, and providing ongoing legal advice.
