Admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 2018, Cyrille is a litigator practicing primarily in the area of family law. His family law practice encompasses a wide range of areas, including complex property division, income determination, support, child custody and guardianship. He has represented clients at all levels of Court in British Columbia. He has conducted trials in Provincial Court and Supreme Court on both family law and commercial litigation matters. In addition to his courtroom experience, Cyrille is known for his ability to resolve matters out of court, and strives to achieve a negotiated settlement whenever possible. Cyrille is also a collaboratively trained family lawyer and can assist clients with resolving their dispute through the collaborative law process.
Before his call to the Bar, Cyrille earned law degrees from the Peter A. Allard School of Law and the University of Exeter. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UBC. After completing his articles, Cyrille began his career with CFMR. He rejoined the firm after spending several years working at a leading litigation boutique firm in Vancouver, BC.
Cyrille’s legal community involvement includes serving as a panel speaker at family law events and law conferences both locally and nationally. He serves as one of the legal duty counsel for a local non-profit organization that assists self-represented litigants navigate the legal system and prepare for court.
Cyrille was born and raised in Richmond, BC, and he has strong ties to the local community. He is of Filipino heritage and is a proud first-generation lawyer. In his spare time, Cyrille enjoys a variety of sports, travelling, and trying new restaurants.
