The firm is pleased to welcome Robert Allan and Spencer May to the partnership. Together they bring a wealth of experience and perspective to our business law group and to their particular areas of interest.
Rob successfully represents clients in the purchase and sale of businesses, commercial leasing and real estate transactions, wills and estate planning and general corporate and commercial matters. Now in his tenth year with CFMR, Rob is currently working to expand his practice by helping family business owners with business restructuring and succession planning, and by joining our firm’s burgeoning maritime and fisheries law group.
Spencer’s practice covers both general litigation and solicitor’s work. In litigation, Spencer has focused on construction law, expropriation, real estate and estate litigation. His lengthy experience in general commercial and civil litigation has benefitted clients at all levels of trial court in British Columbia, in administrative tribunals and numerous arbitrations. On the solicitor’s side, Spencer has focused on working with farmers throughout British Columbia, attending to a variety of issues including corporate matters, estate planning and land issues involving the Agricultural Land Commission. Spencer joined CFMR in 2009.
